Flying High Butterfly

Hello everyone :o)

It's all a bit busy, busy, busy this week, and I can't show most of my makes yet, so I thought I'd just pop in with another quick card made with those Flying High goodies from Craftwork Cards.

I've used some of the butterflies from the pack this time, instead of the balloon images, and smothered them in Wink of Stella before layering them together.  I can't link to the Flying High products, as they don't appear to be available now, but everything else is from Craft Mojo and is linked up below.

Morgan is appearing at the Montgomery Theatre tomorrow evening, in Bugsy Malone... it's just their school play, but they always do the Year 6 play at the theatre as it's their last big thing before they all leave (sob!).  Anyone can go though, and tickets have been selling well, so there'll be lots of people there and he's a wee bit nervous, but very excited too!  We're all going to watch, and fingers crossed all will go well.

Fairy Birthday & a little candy

Hello... I'm back with my Sugar Nellie DT card, and my second play with distress ink markers.  If you scroll down to the post before this one, you can see my first attempt, which I was much happier with.  This one was perhaps a bit over ambitious lol!

First attempt with Distress Ink markers...

Hello everyone :o)

I've always said I'm useless at water colouring, but it's something I'd love to master... so I've bought a few (ahem... 17...) distress markers to try out, and see how I get on with them.

Here's my very first attempt...

I'm actually quite happy with this, and I think if I stick to bears we could pretend I've almost got the hang of the markers.... However, if you pop back later today to see my second attempt, you'll see that I really haven't got a clue lol!  I'm having fun though, that's the main thing eh?

Snowy Fun - DigiStamp Boutique DT

I have another Christmas creation for this week's DigiStamp Boutique DT card... I just love this snowman set!  So that makes two Christmas cards made so far this year lol.

I merged one of the snowmen (don't tell the others, but I think this one's my favourite...) with the 'joy' word from the same set... they look perfect together, don't they?

Another Flying High

Hello everyone :o)

Here's the card I made for Pav's grandad, for his Name Day... a very simple one using the Craftwork Cards Flying High goodies again.

The balloons are on the patterned paper, and I cut more from an extra sheet so I could layer them up with foam pads.  Each piece has been sparkled with Wink of Stella, and inked around the edges with Black Soot distress ink... added one of the sentiments and a little heart that was included, and that's it!

Is everyone else's blog reading list playing up?  I can only see the first post in the list, and it ignores me when I try to view more... so I suppose if everyone has the same problem, not many people will even see this post lol.

PigWit Pig Out

Hello everyone :o)

I'm here with my annual piggy card... Every year my mum asks me for a card for her friend, who loves pigs... it gets harder every year to come up with something new, and I have lots of pig images that generally just get used once... because obviously I can't use the same one each year!  This year I spotted a fab image on Jo's blog that I think is really cute, so hopefully this one will get used again.

The papers are from an older MME pad, and the layout is from this week's I Heart Sketches challenge, which I'm entering right at the last minute!

Craft Mojo DT card & my candy winner

Happy Saturday everyone :o)

I've used some of the gorgeous new June release MFT goodies for today's Craft Mojo DT card...

I just love this peek-a-boo heart die... it cuts dots in the shape of a heart, so you can have a different colour showing through.  So effective and pretty!  The new pierced fishtail flags are a great addition, and the Together Forever sentiments are beautiful, and stamp so perfectly too.
