I've got the boys off school again tomorrow as the teachers are on strike, so no gym for me tomorrow... I've been this morning though and I'm really enjoying it.  I've even booked in for a spin class on Friday, never done spin before but always fancied having a go.  I can't remember whether I've mentioned the weight loss thing on here before... loathe to call it a 'diet', but we've been eating healthier (and less!) for the last few months and now doing more exercise.  So far I've lost 18lbs and I'm quite pleased with that.... probably could have lost more if I'd cut out the cake lol, but as long as it's coming off I don't really mind how long it takes.

Fishing Dan - DigiStamp Boutique DT

Oh SO late and SO tired!!!

What a day... I had my induction session at the gym I've just joined (loved it), and this evening we've been to an open evening for the secondary school that Morgan wants to go to.  It started at 6pm and we've only just got back!  He's really desperate to go there now, it's a fabulous school... has an outstanding rating from Ofsted and seems to have activities to suit every possible interest.  We'll have to wait until March to find out if he gets in, fingers crossed!

Anyway... I'd better get on with the real reason for my post, which is my DT card for DigiStamp Boutique.  I've used a very cute image from the Funtime Dan Set 2 to make a card for my mum to give to Morgan for his birthday (which is on Friday).  She's getting him a fishing rod, so this image seemed appropriate.

I'm hoping he'll see the funny side of the frog... he's recently decided he's scared of frogs, mainly because one of my mum's cats brought one in the house and dropped it right next to him.  Scared him half to death, bless him!

Puss in Boot

I have to admit, I'm not very happy with today's card... It's one that my mum asked me for, for my step-sister.  Mum can be very specific about her cards - this time she wanted something girly, with a cat, and she fancied a tall thin card for a change... it's the tall thin bit that threw me I think... it's 5" x 8" and it just doesn't quite work.  Mum was happy with it though!

Cute Santa & Xmas Pud - DigiStamp Boutique DT

Hello everyone :o)  Hope you're all well... I'm a bit wobbly because someone ran into Pav's car on his way home from work!  The other driver tried to filter into Pav's lane and there was nowhere for him to move out of the way.  He's fine apart from being a bit shaken up, but his shiny new company car is not quite so shiny and new now, the passenger side needs repairing.

Further to last night's 'hubby v toilet' incident... the flush has been playing up and hubby decided to take it all apart, which would be fine if he had the faintest idea about the inner workings of toilets but unfortunately he hasn't!  So by the time he'd done he couldn't get it to flush at all and couldn't put it back together either lol... following a phone call to my mum's hubby, he managed to get it flushing but it's still not put back together as it needs a new part fitting.  Fingers crossed it can all be sorted out!

Tie-dye baby card!

Well ok, it's not really tie-dye, but it's the best I could come up with!  You might remember me mentioning earlier in the week, that my mum had asked me for a new baby card for a 'grungy, tie-dye' sort of couple... I had no idea what to make, but sat down and played with some inks and sprays and the very cute Memory Box baby clothes die.  This is what I ended up with...

The boys are back to school tomorrow and I'm really not looking forward to it, I'm going to miss having them around... it'll give me time to get more done though I suppose, and I'm considering joining a gym too - before the kids I used to go all the time and loved it, but haven't been for years.  Time to get back into it again I think!
